Moody traditional with layered pattern and vintage character
A single sitting room, completely transformed — deep, moody teal walls, a slipcovered sofa in a subtle animal print, and a pair of navy velvet swivel chairs turn this into the kind of room you don't want to leave.
The room needed to feel rich and layered without going dark and heavy — a hard balance to strike in a smaller, light-limited space.
We leaned into the moody wall color instead of fighting it, then balanced it with warm brass sconces, natural rattan and bamboo furniture, and antique wood pieces, so the room feels collected and warm rather than closed-in.
