The Space

This whole-home project took a blank, builder-grade shell and gave every room its own personality while keeping the palette cohesive from the entry to the primary suite — soft blues, warm brass, and natural rattan carry a coastal Charleston feel through nine rooms without ever repeating themselves.

The Challenge

The home needed to work for a full family — a primary suite, two very different guest rooms, and shared living spaces — without feeling like nine unrelated design projects stitched together under one roof.

The Solution

We built a shared material palette of rattan, brass, blue-and-white, and hand-picked art that we could stretch and bend room to room: playful and sporty in one guest room, soft and pastel in the next, moody and elegant in the primary suite, and bright and open through the kitchen, dining, and living spaces.

A Tour of the Home

Entry Foyer

Two entries, each designed for the way this family lives. The back entry — the one used most — works hard, with an easy drop zone for the everyday. At the front, we kept things simpler and let the finishes make the statement: soft blue millwork and patterned wallpaper give the foyer its own moment, creating a warm, happy backdrop enjoyed from the kitchen and living spaces beyond.

Primary Suite

A soft blue upholstered bed, a brass chandelier, and a scalloped-mirror bath keep the primary suite feeling calm, collected, and a little bit special.

Living Room

An easy, family-friendly living room built around a sectional, a rattan chandelier, and art — comfortable enough for movie night, polished enough for company.

Kitchen & Dining

White cabinetry, brass hardware, and a mix of pendant and chandelier lighting carry through the kitchen into a farmhouse dining table dressed for everyday family meals.

A scalloped mirror and a graphic striped curtain turn a small powder bath into one of the most photographed rooms in the house.

A walnut dresser, a world map, and a gallery of framed team memorabilia make this guest room feel personal without losing the home's grown-up palette.

Blush pink and soft blue pillows, a brass spindle bed, and a gallery of framed prints give this second guest room its own quiet, collected personality.
